A word from the boss,
Andre Bam
As most of you are aware House of Print and Artone Press have merged. The merger officially took place on the 1 April 2011.
When I started my first business, Execuprint, 17 years ago, we tried to differentiate ourselves from other litho printing companies by aggressively targeting printing for the entertainment industry. By doing this we went head to head with Artone Press, which was the major supplier to the Music and Entertainment Industry.
When Execuprint and House of Print got together 10 years ago, our main focus was predominantly to continue to print for the commercial market, even though we were a major player, second to Artone Press, in printing for the Entertainment Industry. The merger between Artone Press and ourselves makes us the number one printing company for the Entertainment Industry and one of the largest litho companies in the country, continuing a proud tradition of a hands-on approach and outstanding quality.
I am very excited about the future of the two company's joining. Together we can now deliver a one-stop print shop. House of Print was established over forty years ago and brings a wealth of expertise within the commercial market. Artone Press, a division of the CTP group, was also established over 40 years ago and brings with it expertise within Entertainment Industry.
Digital and Point of Sale:
Our combined company's can now offer short digital runs on our one of a kind Kodak Nexpress, offering 3D ink and personalisation amongst other unique options. Size is also not a problem as far as digitally printed point of sale, specialised back-lits or large format printing products are concerned.
Litho:
House of Print and Artone Press, combined can also boast a larger array of litho printing equipment, such as an 8 colour perfecting press, four 5 colour presses, four 4 colour presses and multiple 1 colour presses.
Finishing:
Our in-house die cutting and foiling coupled with collating, folding and finishing equipment makes us fortunate enough not to rely on any third party finishing suppliers, thus ensuring us better quality control on all your products.
To cause no disruption to you the two companies will continue to run independently at this time. It will take House of Print nine months to move to the Artone Press site and by January 2012 the companies will officially be under one roof.
All our sales representatives, myself or our internal AE's will be able to guide you with any products or questions you might have. If you are interested in seeing our world class facilities at work first hand, please feel free to arrange a visit with either myself or your representative.
Please have a look at our exciting new website, www.houseofprint.co.za, for our offerings and look out for our quarterly newsletter where we will keep you up to date with all the exciting happenings.
Once again thank you for all your support.
Kind Regards,
Andre Bam
