The Despatch in any printing company is not only a busy place, but it is a crucial part of the production process. All the work that goes into making the customer’s job a masterpiece finally comes together when it is packed up and sent out of the door. It is also the one area where mistakes cannot happen.
Here at House of Print, our Despatch is operates 24 hours-a-day to ensure that you – our clients – receive your work at the right time, on time, every time. This is no simple task and relies on dedicated and committed staff. However, the real master mind is our Despatch Manager, Theresa Nkomo. It is her responsibility to ensure that all the items sent out of our doors reach the right destination.
Theresa joined House of Print in 1991 as a bindery assistant. Her attention to detail and thoroughness soon saw her move up the ranks to Quality Controller and Book Binder. In 1995, she became Despatch Assistant with the responsibility for preparing and process delivery notes. This is the real nuts and bolts of the process because the delivery notes can mean the difference between success and failure in every job.
Theresa is now our Despatch Manager and overseas the smooth and efficient running of our Despatch. Thanks Theresa for all your hard work and for ensuring that our clients receive their work on time.
