Here at House of Print we have adopted the principle of focusing on a few areas where we excel. We believe in providing our customers with the very best quality in everything that we print. We endeavour to go the extra mile to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Our production capacity is concentrated on three main areas – printing for the music and entertainment industry, point of sale printing and the printing of annual reports. While we do all other types of printing, these three areas are where our key focus lies.
In 2016, the leading trade magazine serving the printing, packaging and signage market, The GAPP Magazine, launched a competition to find the best printers in all sectors of the market. With a total of 34 categories, The GAPP Awards is the most comprehensive printing competition in Africa. Products are judged against each other in carefully structured categories.
House of Print entered a number of categories but concentrated quite extensively on the Annual Reports category in the litho printing section of the competition. This is because annual reports are, by their definition, high-quality and complex products to print. We are pleased to announce that in this category we won not only the Gold Award but also the Silver and Bronze Awards.
The Gold Award was for the Bestmed Annual report which we printed on Invercote 490gsm, and Galerie Silk 130 and 300gsm. The Silver Award was for the Fidelity Annual Report printed in HiQ Matt 180 and 300gsm. The Bronze Award was for the TFG Integrated Annual Report printed on Galerie Silk 115 and 300gsm.
We are delighted to have won these awards in recognition of the care and dedication that we bring to every job. We will definitely be entering the next GAPP Awards which will be judged and announced in 2018.
