Here at House of Print we pride ourselves on trying to make a difference in the lives of our staff. This takes the form of giving staff the opportunity to further their education which not only benefits the individual but the company and also the greater community.
Training is an important element in ensuring that our staff meet their full potential. Part of this is our apprenticeship programme, designed to offer young people the ability to grain skills and allow them to become viable contributors to the economy of our country. The latest addition to our apprenticeship programme is Thabang Moletsane who joined our DTP Department in Electronic Origination.
Thabang joined us in August 2016 and began with his formal studies early in 2017 at the NISSI Printing College where he started his TT1 Block. Although he has still not received his results as yet, Thabang feels the course has helped a lot. He said, ‘My studies at College have given me a better understanding of the terminology and processes involved in Electronic Origination. I can honestly say that I am growing a lot. I now understand a lot more and I can see how everything works together. I would like to thank the management and staff at House of Print for this opportunity and for the way they have welcomed me.’
We congratulate Thabang on his determination and dedication to his studies and wish him all of the best for the remainder of his courses. Keep up the good work Thabang.
