We are fully aware of the importance and contribution that the staff at House of Print make to providing you – our clients with your printed jobs. Without their hard work, dedication and loyalty House of Print would not be the company that it is, the company you rely on to produce your printed products. Their knowledge and experience ensures that you receive prints of the highest quality with the shortest possible production times.
An important aspect of ensuring that our clients receive the very highest quality work is training. Our staff are encouraged to undertake extra studies to improve their knowledge and skills and in order to enable them to do this, we provide learnerships and bursaries. In addition, we also provide apprenticeships to unskilled people, benefitting the community and bringing new blood into the industry.
We would like to congratulate the following employees for undertaking the next phase in their learnerships. Enrolled in the Production Technology 2 module are: Wonder Skosana, Folding Machine Operator; Lesego Marumulo, Production Assistant; Belinda Daniels, Packer; Immaculate Thubakgale, Production Assistant; Mpho Mamaile, Dispatch Clerk and; Samkelo Ndiweni, Production Assistant. Enrolled in the Production Technology 3 module are: Jerry Makokoe, Dispatch Supervisor; Lloyd Chirisa, Folding Machine Operator and Lehlohonolo Masoabi, Machine Minder. These members of staff will complete these modules over the course of the coming year.
House of Print also assists qualifying staff members by providing bursaries for them to be able to further their education. One such staff member is Shayne Mushekwa who recently graduated with a BA in Marketing Communication. Shayne works in our Computer-to-Plate department. He began studying for his degree in 2015 and completed his studies in 2018. He has balanced a full workload while undertaking this strenuous course on a part-time basis. Congratulations Shayne – you make us proud.
In addition, to this we have taken on one new apprentice each year since 2016. We carefully select young people who show the aptitude and drive in a given area and assist them to learn a trade. In 2016, Excellent Kambule joined us in the Bookbinding Department. He is now working towards completing his trade test by the end of this year. In 2017, Kyle Magardie joined our Lithography department. He is currently working on his TT3 Block and will complete his apprenticeship next year. Last year, Buhle Mbatha joined the Electronic Origination department and is working on his Phase 2 Test. She will complete her studies in 2021. We would like to congratulate all our employees and apprentices for their dedication, not only to the company, but also to their futures. Through their hard work they will be able to provide a better life for themselves and their families, but more than that, they show commitment to meeting the goals we set here at House of Print. Well done everyone, and keep up the good work.
