Sue is very proud of the fact that she was the second woman in the history of South Africa to become an apprentice in printing.
She started at Perskor in 1975, the company specialised in school books and calendars. “Tannie Sue” as she is affectionately known has been with the group for 35 years. In 1984 she returned having been away from the industry for seven months and was promoted to oversee operations with ten staff members. In 1988 she moved to run the dispatch department and has been running it ever since.
Tannie Sue always puts extra effort into her work and has a real mentoring spirit among her colleagues.Sue will be greatly missed as she retires at the end of the year as she is truly a vibrant, funny and warm person who has solved many challenges with her determination.
All the best from all of us at House of Print on your new journey.
