Here at House of Print we pride ourselves on having a wonderfully dedicated and enthusiastic group of staff. Without fail they go out of their way to do their respective jobs to the best of their abilities. They realise that doing their job – whatever that may be – directly impacts the service we are able to offer to you our clients. This makes it very difficult to single out one over another.
However, when we look at staff there are a few who do stand out, whether it be for exceptional service or longevity, or in the case of Angie Govender, our Client Service Manager it is for a combination of both.
Angie joined Artone Press in 1989 as a Despatch Clerk. Despatch in any printing company can be a rather hectic place to work but Angie handled the pressure with a great deal of calm and grace. She was often called on to directly assist the Despatch Manager by taking on his duties when he was called away. This meant dealing with client queries, liaising with production and co-ordinating deliveries. It was in this stressful arena that Angie developed her love for interacting with clients.
She commented, ‘Clients were always very complementary of my service and would express their gratitude to senior management. Eventually, I was asked by my managing director to take over from my manager when he left. This gave me a great sense of accomplishment. I thoroughly enjoy my job here at House of Print. I would like to thank management and my colleagues for the faith, trust and support given to me over the years.’
We are so thankful to have a person of Angie’s calibre and commitment heading up our Client Service Department, she epitomises our dedication to meeting the needs of customers. Keep up the good work – Angie.
